Manufacture and Sale of Metal Cutlery
Product: Cutlery Business Relationship Started: 2018
Cutlery manufacturers worldwide are releasing PVD-treated products because they are dishwasher-safe. Initially, we were concerned about quality and potential handling damage. However, after conducting tests and touring the factory, we were reassured by their careful handling. While pricing is important, their dedication to quality and responsiveness to our proposals convinced us of a long-term partnership.
We initially had an issue with the blue PVD turning iridescent, but it has since been resolved. We can't fully evaluate durability yet, but we haven't received any complaints about peeling, so we believe it's holding up well. Our inspections post-processing have not revealed any defects, and we appreciate their attention to detail. Their courteous service, even for small orders, and prompt responses to our questions allow us to conduct business with confidence.
Overall Rating: 9 (Decorative Quality 8, Durability 8, Price 8, Delivery Time 10, Delivery & Inspection 10, Sales Support 10)
Some mention that our cutlery is expensive compared to PVD processing costs in China and Vietnam (often under 100 yen per piece), but our products are highly regarded for their beautiful, stable quality and dishwasher compatibility. Given our commitment to Japanese-made quality, domestic PVD processing is optimal for us.
Sales performance is still developing, but our products are undoubtedly in demand. Our new items with black, rose, and blue PVD coatings have received high praise and design awards. One design judge remarked, "Seeing this cutlery makes me want to replace my current set," which we attribute to the PVD finish.
As a manufacturer, we value PVD for its ability to enhance the product without masking its base quality. PVD adds to the product's appeal rather than compensating for its shortcomings, which we greatly appreciate.
